Riding on and on: Official at SAFRA AVventura (10

Cycled down to SAFRA Yishun for the officials' brief at 9am in the morning. After the brief, we went down to Daisy Farm via chartered transport to help set up some stuff at the registration area. However, due to some problems with the logistics, we hung around for more than an hour without doing much. At least, Bro and I walked the running trail as we were the designated marshals.
At about 1pm, we left for SAFRA Yishun. Cycled to Yishun Central for lunch before heading to Chong Pang City for desert. I left for home after that. (Distance covered: 9.8km)
I decided to take a spin around the Sembawang area in the evening. Obviously some bikes (including a roadie) were eyeing mine for a race at Simpang Kiri. I blew them away on the first and second lap but eased off on the third. Time to head home. (Distance covered: 14.9km)

11 January 09 (Sun)

Woke up at 3am, left house for SAFRA Yishun at 3.30am! We rushed down in ten minutes, thanks to Bro who could not find his keys. At Diary Farm, we did the sign posting in the dark MTB trail at 5am! Next, it was directing the traffic and close to 6.30am, I left for my designated spot. I was the only one in the jungle in the wee hours, a truly exhilarating experience.
By 8.30am, the run leg had been concluded and we collected the signs. That took some time; by then the bus had come and the ICs thought we had gone missing =)
Heading back to Lower Seletar / Khatib Bonsu, we spent some time arranging the kayaks before spending the rest of the afternoon "directing" and cheering the participants on.
By 3.30pm, we packed up, headed back to SAFRA Yishun to witness the prize presentation, collect our "renumeration", grab a bite at the reception and head for home =)
